If I forget the past

If I forget the past
And stay with the present
Maybe the longer it can last
If I forget the present
And live with the past
Then it might not be as pleasant
Though if I live the future
And live with my hopes
I might not see the new feature
So I might as well stay right here
And live my life the way it is now
And perhaps look for future with more desire.

The first thing I think about when I wake up is coffee. I love the smell, but I mostly love the comfort it provides. It makes me forget what is happening in the outside world. It makes me feel okay. It reminds me that I am alive and that I have a lot to be thankful for.
