What I like about my American life is that I know for sure that I have a chance at success. It’s this simple: I have goals and I know there are ways to acheive them. I might not know what the future holds, but I can try and keep trying to get something.
Down in the water, the world becomes completely different. It’s like you’re in a whole new place, a blurry, but nice place. It’s quiet, it’s blue, and it’s peaceful. Once you’re in, you don’t want to get out.
Set during the American Civil war between the north and south, this tale of love and loss is very inspiring. Nicole Kidman and Renee Zellweger,who won the oscar for supporting actress,give their best performances. Jude Law also stars as Kidman’s lover who is sent to war and fights to return to his love.
This small store has the best ice-cream you could ever taste. With tons of flavors to choose from, even with waffle cones and waffle bowls, Cold Stone has one of the best ice-creams. Sizes come in: like it(small), love it(medium), and gotta have it(large).
If you haven’t tried the new frappuccino light yet, you should. It is just like the regular frappuccino excluding the whip cream and whole milk. It’s refreshing, delicious, and healthier than the regular frappuccino.
Fahrenheit was great. It was absolutely the right kind of movie to be made. I hope everybody sees it because it sure is a wake-up call for everyone. I definitely agree with Michael Moore, I think he is right down to the bone. The whole war in Iraq, just as I thought, was a big mistake, and Presiden Bush’s praise for Iraq’s “freedom” for Iraqis was a big lie. I knew that from the start. I knew nothing had changed for them except a new hatred towards America. It was a really sad movie, but our lives are sad.
The streets of Manhattan are one of the most beautiful amongst many. I love walking in Manhattan because of its beauty and color. It’s just a city full of diversity from many nations and cultures. It’s sort of magical when you see how alive the city is. If you are a foreigner like me, you almost never realize you’re different because everyone else is different. And you never get bored because there are so many things to see, to listen to, and to capture. You can do this everyday and you won’t get tired. There’s a power within the city that, like a magnet, keeps you in.
